Ens. Randy ( "Rand-teel-tdzlaal Fortuna")
Ens. Randy ( “Rand-teel-tdzlaal Fortuna”) is the sleek and beautiful alien healer/doctor of Zinjin`s strike C.D.U.L.O. team. Although she wasn`t originally a ranked officer due to her young age, Zinjin gave her the rank of Ensign due to her indispensable role on the battlefield
Zinjin and Corey found Randy hiding away with her family on an old moon in the Eulortiwa system. Her planet had long since been destroyed and reseeded by radical Tolarduins a long time ago, so her society had since managed to rebuild and thrive on their new homeworld. That was until a Shi`aki reconnaissance team arrived. Randy was completing her “holy right of passage” when the Shi`aki arrived and killed her escorts.
Wanting to use her for their experiments in extracting psionic energy from alien captives to replenish their fuel supplies, the Shi`aki were in the process of kidnapping her and setting bombs to wipe out the rest of her city before Zinjin and Corey arrived. They had been tracking that particular Shi`aki transport and were waiting for the aliens to make a move. The duo caught the unsuspecting aliens off guard and eradicated what was left of them while disarming the bombs and resuing Randy.
Upon taking her back to her city, the head council (able to glimpse into the young girl`s future), urged Zinjin and Corey to bring her with them as her untapped power would prove to be a valuable asset in the fight against the Shi`aki. When Zinjin declined and left, Randy stubbornly stowed away on their ship and has proven to be an essential asset to them ever since.
Her telepathic abilities as a “seeker” have come in handy to pull the team out of sticky situations on more than one occasion. Cool-headed and nurturing, with a hint of childish naivete by nature, Randy is exceptionally skilled at using powerful elemental black magic spells, which is only increased by the cybernetic implants she received in her spine, legs and arms that allow her for her relatively small and fragile physical frame to contain her exponentially growing power!
